# Studio: Autopilot

> Learn how to use the Autopilot tab to automate short-form video creation from start to finish.

The **Autopilot** tab (Short Automation) is the core feature of nQivi Studio. It automates the entire video creation pipeline: generating scripts, storyboards, voiceovers, background music, stock footage, subtitling, and watermarks in a single run.

The configuration workflow is divided into **6 steps**.

## 🎬 Gaining Mastery Over the 6 Setup Steps

### Step 1: Input / Output

Configure the baseline settings for your video batch:

* **Number of videos:** The quantity of videos you want to generate in this queue.
* **Aspect ratio:** Select **9:16 Portrait** (for Shorts, Reels, TikTok), **16:9 Landscape** (YouTube), or **1:1 Square** (Instagram).
* **Expected duration:** Set the target duration (e.g. 30s, 60s, or custom limits).
* **Video Quality:** Set resolution presets (720p, 1080p).
* **Custom Output Folder:** Pick a specific folder path on your drive where results will be organized.
* **Metadata:** Enable **Auto-gen metadata** to let the AI draft SEO titles, targeting keywords, tags, and description chapters.

### Step 2: Script

This step defines the topic and narration style:

* **Video Language:** Choose the output language of the video narration.
* **Type of videos:** Select custom topics, URLs, or Reddit content templates.
* **Subject / Idea:** Enter a prompt or topic description (e.g. *“3 interesting facts about the ocean”*).
* **Create outline / Get ideas:** Generate multiple conceptual variations before writing the full script.
* **Script Textbox:** View or manually edit the script. Use AI helper buttons to **Reword**, **Summarize**, **Translate**, **Shorten**, or **Extend** your text.

### Step 3: Audio

Choose the voice and music for your content:

* **Text to speech engine (TTS):** Select a provider (EdgeTTS, MiniMax, Gemini, ElevenLabs, OpenAI).
* **TTS Speed:** Scale speech velocity from **0.7x** to **1.2x**.
* **Voice Selector & Samples:** Listen to samples of voices and select the speaker. If using dialogue-style content, toggle **Auto assign voices** to distribute roles among multiple speakers.
* **Background Audio:** Select background tracks from the Asset Library or upload your own audio files. Adjust the background volume level (typically 5% - 15%).
* **Sound Effects & Transitions:** Configure transition audio and automatic sound effects.

### Step 4: Media

Determine the visual content:

* **Edit with images/footage:** Enable this to add media.
* **Visual Style:** Choose between **Image** (Bing search/AI), **Video** (Pexels/YouTube search), or **Mixed** modes.
* **Image/Video Sources:** Use Pexels stocks, Bing search, or AI models (Freepik, Fal.ai) to generate visuals.
* **AI Model Quality:** Adjust quality levels (low, medium, high) and duration of generated clips.
* **Browser Automation:** Allows using browser-driven searches for stock sourcing (useful in God Mode).

### Step 5: Captions

Customize your subtitles:

* **Use Captions:** Toggle subtitle generation.
* **Caption Style & Font:** Select standard layouts, customized borders, colors, text highlighting, and paragraph sizing.
* **Number of words per line:** Choose word constraints to fit your screen size.
* **Texting Style:** Enable a messaging or bubble chat format (perfect for dialogue or Reddit threads).
* **SRT files:** Export subtitle files (Plus feature) or upload your own custom `.srt` file (Pro feature).

### Step 6: Advanced

Add final touches:

* **Add Text:** Set custom watermark text, select fonts, choose animations, and configure speed.
* **Greenscreen Animations:** Insert green screen assets (such as subscribe buttons) with chroma key settings (color, similarity, blend).
* **Overlays:** Insert visual effects like moving frames or live audiowaves.

## 🖥️ Checking Results & Editing

The right-hand side of the Autopilot tab provides real-time review interfaces:

* **Preview:** Render a quick preview of your active video project before building the final file.
* **Gallery:** Browse through images and footage scraped or generated by the script.
* **Editor:** A built-in timeline editor where you can adjust scene start times, replace clips, edit subtitle text, and fine-tune rendering.
